Your light, bright holiday home
Your accommodation has an interesting history. Originally the stable for the local doctor’s horse and cart it was converted to house the first car in the village, again belonging to the doctor. In the late 1920’s it continued to be a garage but was extended upwards to house a wood and craft studio. When we bought it in 2002 we renovated it and again lifted the roof to provide a spacious bedroom and shower room. The house is open plan with lounge, dining and kitchen areas downstairs, a spiral staircase and gallery bedroom upstairs. Retaining the original stone wall upstairs and wooden ceilings, it provides a cosy atmosphere in winter and a cool retreat in summer.

The house is situated in a small street in the village with no passing traffic but is close to the local San Juan square with its small but beautifully painted church (with a resident stork during winter and springtime). There are two entrances, one via your front door and a further entrance, across the lawned garden, which provides a secure parking space for your car. It also provides access to the vegetable garden from which you are welcome to pluck fresh tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, and many other fruits and vegetables in season – they are all so tasty and organically grown.
